Wireless networking has really taken off due to the falling costs of hardware
required to setup such networks.
The most widely deployed protocol at the moment is 802.11b which offers speeds
up to 11Mbps and ranges from 50 metres to in excess of 500 metres utilising the
ISM band around 2.4GHz and low cost 802.11b compliant network cards and Access
Points.
Information on my wireless projects can be found under "Projects" and some
useful links to manufacturers and other software and hardware projects can be
found under "Links"
